The honest version of the story.

Solen AI is currently one person: a young solo founder who builds things instead of waiting for permission. That's not a weakness we're hiding; it's the context for everything on this site.

The goal is one system, not a pile of apps: an assistant that understands your context, plans work, uses real tools, and keeps you in charge. We call it Jarvis, at least for now. Yes, like the one in the movies. It's a working name, and it may change.

Around it, two more layers are taking shape: Astro, a local-first workspace for connected notes that's designed to become the memory Jarvis consults, and the Solen Model, planned to power the whole thing and ship open-weights with Jarvis v1. There's also Solen Lab, a small open research space for benchmarks and experiments, because claims without measurements are just marketing.

Since August 2026, the routine running of Solen AI, keeping systems up, day-to-day upkeep, is handled by autonomous agent tooling built out of Solen Lab's own research. It is a live experiment: the Lab's work on capable agents, put to use on the project it was built to support, not left on a shelf as benchmarks. Details, as always, in the changelog.

And there's an idea past all of this, stated plainly as an idea: building the first operating system natively integrated with AI and actually agentic. A system that works alongside you instead of waiting for clicks. macOS, Windows, and Linux were built for a different era. That's the direction everything here is pointed.

What you won't find here: “revolutionary AI”, “the future of work”, features described as available when they're actually a roadmap slide. What you will find: a changelog that tells you exactly what state things are in, and more news coming, including things we haven't announced yet.
