Solen Model · working name · the intelligence layer

Not the biggest model. A useful one.

A Solen model is being designed to work for and with Jarvis, built on open-source foundations and planned to ship open-weights alongside Jarvis's first release. Training hasn't started yet. We'd rather tell you that than pretend.

planned

“Solen Model” is what we call it while we build it. The real name arrives with the weights.

Principles

What this model is for.

Built on open foundations, shipped open-weights

We start from strong open-source foundations and fine-tune for the work Jarvis actually does. The result ships open-weights alongside Jarvis v1: download the weights, run them anywhere. For later models and versions, we'll decide when we get there, and say so here.

Designed with Jarvis, not before it

The model and the assistant are being designed together, so the fine-tuning targets are real: planning, tool use, code, and working with your notes, not leaderboard trivia.

Measured, not marketed

Before we claim anything, we benchmark it, against the open models it comes from and the hosted models it might replace. Results go on the research page, including the losses.

Small enough to control

The goal is a model you can run where you want, inspect when you need to, and swap out when something better comes along. Not a moat. A component.

Evaluation methodology and results will live on the research page as they come in.
